You’ll love this combination of asparagus and chicken…a delicious match made in heaven!
1 Cup Fresh Asparagus, cut into one inch pieces
1 Unbaked Pastry Shell
1 Cup Canned Chicken Breast, drained or Cooked Chicken, chopped
4 Bacon Strips, cooked and crumbled
1/3 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1-1/3 Cups Light Cream
2 tsp All-Purpose Flour
½ tsp Salt
Preheat oven to 375°. Arrange asparagus in bottom of pie shell. Top with chicken, bacon, and cheese. In a small bowl, beat eggs; stir in cream, flour and salt. Pour into shell. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake 45-50 minutes or until set. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
