For this recipe, you are welcome to use any amount of the ingredients you like, depending on how many people you will be serving. It’s a fun change from traditional pizza and your kids will love it!
Sliced Provolone Cheese
Small Button Mushrooms
Red Peppers, chopped
Fully Cooked Nitrite Free Chicken Sausage, sliced
Pillsbury Classic Pizza Crust
Preheat oven to 450°. Sauté peppers and onions in a bit of butter until softened. Add Spaghetti sauce and sausage and simmer for 15 minutes.
Brush small oven-proof ramekins with butter. Layer 4 slices of cheese in the bottom and half way up sides of each dish. Place 3 whole button mushrooms on top of cheese. Top with sauce mixture. Cut out circles of pizza crust just large enough to slightly overlap each dish. Brush crusts with egg wash place each dish on a foil lined cookie sheet. Bake until golden brown and enjoy!
