Silver white winters that melt into springs, these were a few of Julie Andrews’ favorite things. But I wonder if Julie ever had these yummy treats? You could say they are sounds of music to the tastebuds! If you are lucky enough to find these goodies, I would LOVE to hear how you enjoy them. Here are some of mine.
Artisan Something Special Gourmet Antipasto:
This is amazing on EVERYTHING. Thank you Costco! This antipasto is full of 9 different veggies, black and green olives, and a bit of tuna. It has a great little tang. Although it is traditionally served on crackers, I prefer it on eggs (scrambled, hard boiled, and omelets) or fish. Quite frankly, I could eat it with a spoon!
Gia Russa Tomato Bruschetta:
I am addicted to this bruschetta from our local Fresh Market. It is great on seafood, chicken, eggs, or crackers. It is even better when sprinkled with a bit of parmesan or asiago cheese. Deeelicious.
Newman’s Own Black Bean and Corn Salsa:
My typical lunch has been the same for many years, I simply never tire of it. All thanks to my friend Newman who donates all profits to charity! I mix mine with a can of chicken, and place it on a huge plate of Butter Lettuce. I finish my yummy salad with diced tomatoes, black olives, low-fat sour cream, and if I’m feeling crazy, a bit of cheddar cheese. It fills me up for hours. This salsa does not compare to any other salsa – it’s literally “full of beans!”
