Are you craving apple pie but don’t have the time to make one from scratch? Try this quick skillet version, it’ll be just as delectable as your Grandma’s.
1 Stick Butter
1 Cup Brown Sugar
2 Refrigerated Pie Crusts
Two 21 oz Cans Apple Pie Filling
2 TBSP Cinnamon Sugar
Preheat oven to 400°. Melt butter in a 9-inch oven-proof skillet. Set aside 1 TBSP of the melted butter. To the melted butter, add the brown sugar and stir over medium heat for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and line skillet with one of the pie crusts. Pour the apple pie filling over crust and sprinkle with 1 TBSP of the cinnamon sugar. Cover the filling with the second pie crust and tuck in edges. Brush the top with reserved melted butter, then sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon sugar. Cut vents in the pie and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown; enjoy!
