These are spaghetti tacos, not such a great idea…
This, on the other hand, is taco spaghetti….a delicious idea any night of the week!
2 lbs. Extra Lean Ground Beef or Turkey
2 Packages Taco Seasoning
2 Cans (10 oz. each) Rotel Tomatoes and Chilies
1 Can Tomato Paste
1 lb. Whole Wheat Spaghetti
6 Cups Water
2 Cups Mexican Blend Shredded Cheese
Preheat oven to 350°. Brown beef or turkey; drain. Return to pan. Stir in taco seasoning. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, and spaghetti. Cover with 6 cups of water. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook until pasta is cooked and water is almost absorbed, about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally with tongs.
Transfer spaghetti into a greased 9×13″ baking dish. Top with cheese and bake until cheese is golden brown; enjoy!
