This is most likely the recipe your Mom used to make. It’s quick and easy, and substituting turkey for beef is a healthier version that you can enjoy more often. Serve with mashed potatoes for a perfect meal that kids love!
1 Envelope Onion Soup Mix
2 lbs. Ground Turkey
¾ Cup Dry Bread Crumbs
¾ Cup Water
2/3 Cup Ketchup or BBQ Sauce, divided
Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine soup mix, turkey, bread crumbs, eggs, water, and 1/3 of the ketchup or BBQ sauce. Spread mixture into a greased glass loaf pan. Spread remaining ketchup or BBQ sauce over the top of the meatloaf. Bake 1 hour and allow to rest on a rack for 15 minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
